Okay, so I’ve been tinkering with the Permaculture Principles, Ethics and Domains of Action since about June 2019 I think…

And have eventually arrived at a ‘Permaculture Wheel’ that might possibly be useful during permaculture courses.

How To Use

  • Just an idea.  As a teaching tool / for exploration by students. Student activity, individually or in groups.
  • Ethics, Domains, and Principles are each on separate layers so can be printed out, pinned through the centre, and then rotated individually
  • Students can rotate to match different Principles, to different combinations of Ethics & Domains, and think of real world examples of these combinations.
  • There are 3 x 7 x 12 combinations (252).

As simple to use as printing the 3 pieces out, and using a thumb-tack / drawing pin through the middle of all three on a board.  Or could be printed in high resolution and taken to the printers for printing on e.g. future board etc.

You can see the evolution of this over a 6 …9 month period or so, on this page Thoughts on the Permaculture Flower.
