Earthship Principles 101
$19.99
Introduction

Earthships are often misunderstood as ‘buildings made with tyres’. Indeed, they can be made with tyres, but this is just one of many avenues available for construction.
The building is conceived of as a whole, to interact with the earth around it in a way to minimise our impact on the environment, and reduce to zero, where possible, the running costs of the building.
There are 6 Principles that guide the design of an Earthship, and it is designing & building according to these principles that defines an Earthship as such. In this course we’ll take a look at those principles, and why they are important.
- Thermal/Solar Heating & Cooling.
- Solar & Wind Electricity.
- Contained Sewage Treatment.
- Building with Natural & Recycled Materials.
- Water Harvesting.
- Food Production.
Course Duration: Less than 4 hours.
